Did you know that Queen Ann's Lace is called that because there's a tiny red dot in the center of each flower and supposedly that represents the time she pricked her finger while making lace?
I spend the majority of my time making up stories about people who don't really exist. I'm lucky that the people I love call this creative instead of crazy. Dutton published my first novel, STAY, in 2010, and it's now a Plume paperback!

At least that's the story I heard from my dad...
I did know that! I don't know if it's true either, but I'd always heard that story!
